No Gym? Try This!

I have had many people tell me that they don’t have access to a gym, or time to drive to a gym, or money to purchase home gym equipment, or an understanding of what they might even need to get started. Others want to have a solution that is convenient for them to do at home or on the road. Some people are completely intimidated by the gym and THIS intimidation is what is keeping them from starting! Don’t let that stop YOU!

The gym isn’t what you need to begin this process! You need YOUR head in the game! Are you ready? OK – let’s go! Also, I could design a whole-body workout for you using JUST YOUR BODY WEIGHT! If you don’t believe me, try planking!

Having said that, I do have a suggestion for getting started at home! I love my  Better Body Solutions Complete 12-Minute Toning Gym. This kit allows me to have a way to quickly workout no matter where I am – even CAMPING!

Resistance training increasing muscle tone, definition, and it builds strength. The more lean muscle mass you have, the more calories you burn. This active tissue (muscle) increases your metabolism. YOU WANT LEAN MUSCLE MASS!

The kit comes with different tube strengths so that you can find the one that works best for you. This also allows you to progress to harder reps as you become stronger. By continually progressing, you can see results more quickly. You can also stand a little further away (or closer) from the door anchor to find the ideal resistance for your moves.

Also, the kit comes with ankle attachments so you can use the tubes for leg exercises as well as comfortable handles for use for the upper body. The door anchor allows you to use it with any door and at any level along the door. There is a poster to help get you started if you do not have access to a personal trainer who can design a program specific for your needs (to avoid injury, plan proper progressions, monitor your overall health and wellness), but in all honesty the options are endless with this kit and more than enough to get you building lean muscle mass and seeing results.

If you want to see results faster and loose some body fat, you need to also think about your nutrition! If your meals are poor, or if you don’t eat regularily, you are missing out on putting your body to work for you!
